Coffey Environments has over 500 staff members and was itself formed by the merger of five formerly individual companies, including IT Environmental, which was the Australian arm of the former IT Group, Inc. Coffey Environments operates in consulting areas including contaminated site assessment, toxicology and risk assessment, remediation system design and operation, environmental planning, sustainable engineering design, and property engineering services. Coffey Environments also has a strong Workplace Health and Safety Division that specializes in occupational health and safety, compliance audits, asbestos assessments, industrial hygiene, and indoor air quality.
